GaDOE Launches Statewide Employee Assistance Program in Partnership With Kepro

On August 23, 2022, The Georgia Department of Education announced it launched a statewide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for all full-time public-school teachers and staff in the state, along with Pre-K teachers.

Kepro is partnering with GaDOE to operate the new helpline and provide short-term counseling sessions. The helpline will also offer short-term support, long-term treatment options and emergent services.

Services are now available. The EAP is free, confidential, and supportive – neither the state nor local districts or schools will have access to information shared in counseling or consulting sessions. Teachers and staff will receive additional access information directly from GaDOE or their district or school.
