My name is Lisa Bennett, and I'm the North Carolina Program Manager at Kepro, working in Cary, North Carolina.
Every day starts with a review of the events and meetings scheduled for the day and then creating a game plan to be able to give my best service to North Carolina state and local health departments, community partners and stakeholders, our clients and my North Carolina Kepro team. Each day is a new chance to work with an amazing, high-energy team, sort through new ideas and create new ways of increasing our footprint in North Carolina! I like to refer to the team as a “power house” – when we need more energy someone always comes forward and gets the team together. The collective energy is something to see!
My favorite part of my job is helping people in need. I feel that I have that chance every day. The Community Health Worker program impacts clients and our Medicaid beneficiaries by assessing their needs and linking them with services in the community.
Outside of work, I have two sons. One lives and works in London, which has led to me exploring other parts of our world.
Since 1985, KEPRO has helped more than 20 million members lead healthier lives through clinical expertise, integrity and compassion. KEPRO was founded by physicians and clinical expertise is at the core of our organization.
