My name is Eric Agyeman, and I'm a Health Intelligence Programmer at Kepro working remotely from Smyrna, Tennessee.
I like to start my day by checking my emails. This way I can reply to any new high-priority requests and get organized at the start of the day. After that, I look over my to-do list and get started on the projects that have my top priority.
I'm accountable for maintaining several scheduled SQL server integration services (SSIS) packages, all of which I was personally involved in developing. Ordinarily, I use the first part of my day to make sure these packages are running correctly and applying any necessary fixes if needed. Throughout the day, I also receive many adhoc requests from both
within my department and outside.
I handle several programming projects, all of which are high priority. My favorite part of my job is making sure all these development projects are working without errors.
I am proud of the work that I do, as I believe it has a significant impact on both the client and the communities we serve. Businesses use data to help make meaningful business decisions, and making this data available helps drive their decision-making. This year we have launched several new initiatives applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) to improve customer care for members and improve front-line clinical team performance.
Since 1985, KEPRO has helped more than 20 million members lead healthier lives through clinical expertise, integrity and compassion. KEPRO was founded by physicians and clinical expertise is at the core of our organization.
