My name is Gary Bevelhymer, and I am an Administrative Assistant for Kepro Corporate Quality Performance in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, working remotely from Columbus, Ohio.
My day begins each morning tending to my two Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mixes, Indy and Jones. Then it is plenty of coffee for dad as I walk straight into my home office, where I first check my emails, upcoming meetings, and review what projects need completed for the day.
I have had the opportunity to get to know many people from other contracts all over Kepro. I love my job because people care about me as a person and about my professional growth. There is a genuine spirit of cooperation and shared goals all revolving around helping the customer that I have not found at other corporations.
I take my time to be proactive and originate new concepts. While out-of-the-box thinking may be out of my comfort zone, I seem to generate more possibilities, learn plenty and inspire others. I feel that those who have a great attitude—consistently—attract the attention of others. Being positive helps reduce stress, increases productivity as well as interpersonal relations with others. My is motto “Lead by serving others and you will stand out.”
Outside of work, I enjoy time spent with my dogs, friends, and my family. I am constantly doing something around my house, whether it is yard work or finishing one of many remodeling projects I started last year. My mother says I am just like my father.
